It would seem more likely that the Kurds would have killed Sadam and drug his body through the streets rather than drugging him and leaving him for the Americans?  I mean they were taking their revenge right?

Seems to me that the simplist answer is usually correct.

Time to give credit where credit is due and stop hating just to hate.</description>

		<description>Perhaps Saddam's capture and public trial was viewed as a fate worse than death... and a $25 million bounty doesn't hurt.

The administration certainly deserves credit for keeping up the chase and placing large enough bounties to grab people's attention.

Regardless of what I think of the administration's policies, if I felt they had credibility in what they said I would give them the benefit of the doubt when articles like this come out. But, they just don't have that kind of credibility.

Dean may be lacking there, too, from what I've been reading... credibility issues are nothing new in politics, unfortunately.
