		<description>"Control of distribution is a strong competitive advantage"; *WAS* an advantage. RIAA no longer has any control over distribution; commodity broadband service permanantly changed that. It is understandable that RIAA is unhappy about that, but denial will not help their situation. Until they accept the fact that  things have changed in a fundamental way and adapt accordingly, they will continue to slide into oblivion. History is littered with the graves of businesses who failed to adapt to changed circumstances.</description>

		<description>You're absolutely correct, Paul. I think all of the DRM madness shows that the RIAA (and MPAA) are still deluding themselves that they can control distribution. At some point, they'll probably realize that customer convenience ultimately helps sales... or someone else will come along and teach them that lesson.
