Earthlink releases open source Java P2P system

Earthlink R&D has released SIPshare: SIP-based P2P Content Sharing Prototype. It’s written in Java and released under a BSD-style license. Apparently, the Earthlink folks think that SIP is good for more than just phone calls and wanted to prove it with code. Neato.
