HelpSpot help desk software first look

Ian is starting on the path toward beta of HelpSpot and has given a first look at HelpSpot’s request view. Many help desk systems are way too complicated for many people who just need to effectively track customer requests. This looks like a good balance and a good way to make sure things don’t get dropped.
Thanks. The biggest challenge has definitely been balancing the number of features a corporate quality help desk software product is expected to have with keeping things simple. I think alot of other products fail at #2 so I’ve put alot of effort in there. We’ll see how it goes. I already have a bunch of ideas for things I’d like to change, but at this point I’m going to wait and integrate my thoughts with beta testers/customers before doing much. Can’t keep changing stuff or I’ll never get it out the door!
That’s exactly the point I’m at with Zesty News. I’ve got a whole list of things that I’ve got planned, but I want to get something out the door to see if *anyone* agrees with me
