Things to comment on
In addition to starting my new job at Arbor Networks (which is going quite well, by the way), I’ve been working hard on the TurboGears book ever since returning from EuroPython. This has left me with little time to blog, and I didn’t have my work machine set up for blog posting (which is to say that I forgot my password because I never have to type it), so I couldn’t even link to interesting things.
I’ve fixed my blog posting problem. The next step will be to fix my blogging itself. I don’t have time to comment on these things properly, but I do know that I want to comment on them:
Bruce Eckel wrote about TurboGears at his Web Framework Jam. I’m excited to see this, because I’ve been a fan of Bruce’s writing for several years.
And I’m quite tardy in replying to Steve Holden’s excellent notes and commentary about my web track keynote at EuroPython. Sorry about that, Steve!
For us that couldn’t be there and way you Kevin. Is there any podcast or similair of your talk?
Unfortunately, no… I don’t have anything useful to post from my talk,
I have been reading your guest book from the beginning, page or two a day. Often I have the energy to read and enjoy, but not write (it is difficult to explain emotions). I like the comments in different languages, even though I can read English well, and Spanish a little, and can just understand some of the words in Italian and Japanese.
I visit your site very often. And with each visit it becomes more and more pleasant to me. It is felt at once, that professionals work at the site! It is such an unusual occurrence nowadays!
I considered myself as the professional in this theme, and did not think that I can find in the Internet something new. But having come on your site, I have understood, that I know nothing and it is necessary for me to study and study as much as possible.
My students are interested in your site very much. I always aspired to understanding of each student and should visit your site. Now I understand, what so pulls them to you.
This is a wonderful site. I’m so glad I have found it.
