A sign that Google has come to Ann Arbor

When Google announced that they were going to employ 1,000 people in Ann Arbor within a few years, the local newspaper was all over it. It actually got to be a bit much. Still, from the perspective of someone working in tech here, it’s good to see a marquee name come to town. I snapped the picture above soon after the sign was put up on the still-under-renovation McKinley Towne Center, where Google Ann Arbor is currently housed.
