Whoah… Looks like your wordpress install has been hacked – view source on this entry and there’s a ton of hidden spam links. They showed up in my feed reader (which doesn’t honor the CSS to hide them)…

Weird. Just this particular entry appears to have been mangled. Thanks for the notice!

I wonder whether that’s SEO-by-spam or deliberate targeting of RSS readers?

Kevin Dangoor on November 12th, 2007 3:00 pm:

I’m pretty sure that most attacks/spam against blogs are SEO-related. Something I don’t understand is how this post got edited *again*. I’m running the latest WordPress. I’ve just changed the credentials and created a whole new account at LoudTwitter, in case that password has been compromised. I’ve also changed my own WordPress password here. That’ll show ‘em! (And if it doesn’t, then there is some other hole I need to plug!)

Eric on November 15th, 2007 11:27 pm:

Good point – good luck with that!

It looks like I’ve won this little skirmish. This post has stayed constant. Unfortunately, though, my tweets are no longer making it over here from Loud Twitter. Oh well.
