When something goes missing, you realize how much you use itPosted by: Kevin Dangoor in PythonLike, say, the Python Cheeseshop. I’ve been using Python eggs extensively since mid-2005 and have grown used to how easy it is to easy_install “random package”. Lately, I’ve been using zc.buildout to get entire environments set up, and it’s Cheeseshop dependent in the same way that easy_install is. Thanks to everyone who’s been involved with coding and running the Cheeseshop. It’s a great resource! Now can we have it back, please?

More about concurrency and non-relational DBsPosted by: Kevin Dangoor in Software DevelopmentMy first blog entry just went up over on the SitePen blog. I expanded on two topics from CodeMash: concurrency and non-relational databases. If you read my brain dump on here a couple days ago, you might want to check out the SitePen entry if those two topics interest you.
