		<description>Yes, Flash Player remains closed source. But, AIR apps do not need to use Flash. You can build an AIR app with HTML, CSS, JavaScript (even using Dojo), just as you would a webapp, and it runs on top of WebKit.

I don't know what portion of the runtime is open source, but AIR is more open than Flash.</description>

Not to sound like a zealot here, but open source is an improper characterization. Just because the tools to make an AIR app are open doesn't mean AIR apps are open. Flash is as closed as they come (and no, Adobe's donation of spidermonkey doesn't count), thus, any development investment in AIR is just as platform-risky as an investment in Silverlight.</description>
