Dojo, DWR, freebies and me at the Detroit JUG tomorrow
October 21st, 2008
The Detroit Java Users Group is meeting out at ePrize tomorrow for a talk about DWR and Dojo. I’ve been wanting to learn more about DWR, so this is a good chance. I’ll be heading out there to the meeting and SitePen has provided me with some Dojo goodies to give away (t-shirts, books and stickers).
I hope to see you there!

Kevin, reading your blog has inspired an interest in programming and computers. I wikipedia’d the stuff (because of course, the Internet knows everything!) and I am driving my computer engineer husband crazy with my little ditties about stuff. I actually took notes and now I try to introduce the information into everyday conversations like, “How are your day?” “Much like spoken languages, we have different computer languages that tell the computer what to do!”
My blog can be rather technical. In fact, I haven’t had time to finish up the switch yet, but Blue Sky On Mars is going to be completely about software development, and I’m moving my personal blogging over to http://kevindangoor.com/
Every occupation has its own lingo, and I daresay we computer folks have managed to produce more than our fair share of lingo and acronyms
Something else for the RSS feed!
I am a special ed teacher, and we have way too much lingo–IEP, LRE, MEAP, MET, ERM…it never ends….!!
